Pyari Mona - Episode 6 and 7 review

We were all excited when Pyari Mona started.. The sets, the background music, the colours, the down-to-earth characters, the witty and direct dialogues.. were like gusts of fresh air. And, of course, the central character, Mona - an "over-weight" young lady just trying to live her happy life in spite of the fat-shaming meted out to her by her mother, brother-in-law and society in general - we all thought Mona was pyari, didn't we?

After watching Episode 6 and 7, I'm not so sure anymore.

Some things I can't understand:

1) How did Samia get a heart attack and die suddenly? I mean, okay, people can get heart attacks. But here they are directly linking it to her depression.. her father says depression can be fatal, if she had been allowed to go to the doctor (therapist) she might still have been alive today.. As though the depression CAUSED her heart attack.

2) The shaadi ka card. Irfan sees half the wedding invitation, which is of Mona Khaliq (some classmate), he assumes its of Mona Khalid (pyari Mona), and then he goes ahead and gets married to another girl, without even clarifying the matter with Mona. I mean how dumb and hasty can you be? He didn't even see that the groom's name is some Zeeshan Khan (not Yawar, whom Mona could have got married to). He didn't even take the card fully out of the envelope. He knew Mona's sister had died and still he thought she had somehow got married suddenly before or after the death. He didn't even wait to talk to Mona properly before fixing his own wedding elsewhere.

3) How is everyone SO NORMAL after Samia's sudden death? Her parents, husband, daughter, sister??? They just continue with their lives as though nothing has happened.
