Pyari Mona - Episode 6 and 7 review
We were all excited when Pyari Mona started.. The sets, the background music, the colours, the down-to-earth characters, the witty and direct dialogues.. were like gusts of fresh air. And, of course, the central character, Mona - an "over-weight" young lady just trying to live her happy life in spite of the fat-shaming meted out to her by her mother, brother-in-law and society in general - we all thought Mona was pyari, didn't we? After watching Episode 6 and 7, I'm not so sure anymore. Some things I can't understand: 1) How did Samia get a heart attack and die suddenly? I mean, okay, people can get heart attacks. But here they are directly linking it to her depression.. her father says depression can be fatal, if she had been allowed to go to the doctor (therapist) she might still have been alive today..
